The Heavy-duty Range - Highest performance in every area of application
The toughest tasks are never a problem for the Unimog`s Heavy-duty Range. From the U2100 to U2450, there is no such thing as too big, too heavy, or too much.
The reason lies in the way they are built: up to 8 tonne payload, high off-road capability and high-volume 6-cylinder engines, with power outputs of up to 177kW (240hp) - and with low-exhaust direct injection, and compliance with EURO 2 emission levels. It isn`t just performance that has made the Heavy-duty Range so successful, itís also the unlimited flexibility. Up to 4 implement attachment points are available, and 3 implement power sources operate independently - the PTO shafts, the power take-offs, and the integrated single- or twin-circuit hydraulic system.
With a wheel base of 2.81 metres, the more compact U2100 to U2400 Unimogs are ideal as manuverable, all-wheel drive working machines for versatile implement applications. The U2150 to U2450 Unimogs, with wheel bases of 3.25 metres, show their muscle in transport or crane work
The wide range of implements and the broad spectrum of application options are limitless, allowing the Unimog to be used for several different tasks, significantly increasing economy of use as well as supplying year-round operation.
