Engine
Mercedes-Benz 6.0L I6 direct injected turbo diesel. RPM ranges from 700-2,600
with peak torque at 1,400 - 1,800 RPM. The Bosch fuel injection system compliments
a proven design with unequaled economy and longevity. Over 10 million of this
engine family in service worldwide.
Power Train
Consists of a high performance dry type double disk clutch. One disk drives the
24 speed transmission with the second driving the 540 - 1,000 RPM PTO transmission.
This arrangement makes available fully independent "live" PTO operating
performance. The transmission consists of an 8 speed fully synchronized gearbox
with 3 available ranges giving a total of 24 speeds in both forward and reverse.
Power shift and hydrostatic drive are also available.
